While the structure itself proves to be interactive, with its open and dynamic set, this is not the only way The Tempest creates an interactive environment. Vendors and food trucks set up along the right side of the stage, allowing for audiences to grab a bite to eat before the show. As they settled into their seats, characters from the play wandered and danced about, nibbling on the audience’s food here and there. With this being said, The Tempest’s whimsical quality translates off the seemingly limitless ONEC1TY stage and into the hearts of Shakespeare’s admirers.
